What is Integrative Veterinary Medicine? Integrative Veterinary Medicine is a broad discipline that includes and combines several different aspects of whole-pet care. Techniques blend western medicine with holistic approaches to treatment, and can include acupuncture, physical therapy and rehabilitation, and nutrition. We practice integrative medicine take a whole-pet approach to therapy; patients are evaluated on the basis of their environment, disease, condition or pain score, and lifestyle, as well as results from other diagnostic modalities such as blood tests, ultrasound and radiographs (x-rays). Our focus is on thorough patient evaluations which provide us information to design the best rehabilitation plan for your pet. Our goals are to relieve pain, restore proper function and improve the lives of our patients. We work with with our other services to ensure your pet’s condition is addressed from all angles. Integrative medicine treatments are non-invasive or minimally invasive, gentle, and are often considered for pets with complex conditions, patients who are not surgical candidates, seniors and young healthy pets or canine athletes. We will work with you to determine your goals for your pet’s care, and will develop a customized treatment plan with these in mind.

rDVM Form What We Offer We offer a variety of services that address orthopedic issues, neurologic issues, post- operative care, weight loss and conditioning, soft tissue injuries and performance and agility goals. Our advanced therapeutic modalities include: TENS, NMES, PEMF, Laser Therapy, and manual therapy. We provide a Home Exercise Plan (HEP), delivered through email, which is interactive and allow us to monitor your pet’s improvement. We offer nutrition counseling for weight loss and can recommend assistive devices to improve your pet’s mobility and comfort.
